The
SWANA Northwest Regional Symposium Program
Committee is requesting abstracts from persons
interested in participating in the Technical
Program of the 2012 Northwest Regional
Symposium. We invite all of you to come and
share your experiences with waste management,
diversion, and recycling with your colleagues.
We’ve identified some tentative session topics
below, but welcome ideas for other sessions.
Each presentation will last approximately one
half hour, including questions and answers.
Speakers are eligible for free registration to
the Symposium on the day of presentation. We
encourage everyone interested in presenting to
prepare a paper to share your experiences. Slide
presentations and outlines are also welcome.

Spaces are available for
table top exhibits at the Symposium Event Center
located in Blackberry Hall and in a heated secure
tent at the entrance to the hall. All meals, breaks,
and the Thursday evening entertainment will be held
in the exhibit areas. Traffic through the exhibit
area will also be encouraged through prize drawings
held at various times throughout the symposium.
Exhibit spaces are available for $1,000.
